As an Automotive Frame Technician at Driver’s Village, you won’t simply repair vehicles, you will ensure the safety and satisfaction of our valued customers.  You will enjoy a career working on our world-class team, repairing and maintaining vehicles, building customer loyalty while working in our state-of-the-art facilities.

Driver’s Village represents over 17 automotive franchises, serving hundreds of customers each month. We’ve been making customers happy for nearly 85 years, by providing safe and reliable transportation.

Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Examine the vehicle for structural damage and decide if parts need to be repaired or replaced
• Take off damaged body parts like bumpers, fenders, hoods and trim
• Use special equipment to straighten the vehicle’s frame
• Use hand and power tools to attach replacement parts to the vehicle
• Prepare the repaired area for refinishing
• Apply a new finish or paint to the restored body parts
• Review damage reports and prepare cost estimates for the customer
• Operate equipment according to safety standards

• Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
• Communicate needed repairs to management to obtain approvals for sublet and customers
• Participate in and complete training as assigned by the manufacturer and management
• Road-test vehicles to ensure the repair has addressed the customer complaint

Applicants Should Meet or Exceed these Requirements:

• Previous Body Shop Tech Experience or equivalent degree is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs)
• Attention to detail
• Organization and follow-up skills
• Valid NY State Driver’s License and good driving record

Salary: $60,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
