Driver’s Village represents over 17 automotive franchises, serving hundreds of customers each month. We’ve been making customers happy for nearly 85 years, by providing safe and reliable transportation.

Collision Center Managers are responsible for overseeing all operations in an automotive repair center.  They ensure the center runs smoothly and provides high-quality service to all customers. Their duties range from supervising staff to managing budgets and maintaining safety standards.

The duties and responsibilities include:

  • Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them
  • Hires, trains, motivates and monitors the performance of all body shop employees.
  • Directs and schedules the work of all body shop employees.
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with insurance adjusters.
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Implements aggressive marketing plan to increase body shop business.
  • Monitors technicians’ daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.
  • Gives fair estimates on costs and time required for bodywork.
  • Follows up on parts department orders to ensure parts availability.
  • Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followed.
  • Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
  • Checks quality of completed work.
  • Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership’s guidelines.

Applicants Should Meet or Exceed these Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the body shop industry required.
  • A goal driven self-starter with excellent sales, customer service, communication, computer, and listening skills
  • A proven track record of high performance, with a history of strong customer satisfaction scores.
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to be trained on an OEM process and procedure.
  • A positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Pleasant, energetic, conscientious and dependable
  • Works well with others in a team atmosphere
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record

Pay: $85,000 -$150,000 per year based previous experience and qualifications
